SalsSky: The Chosen One is a novel in 7 chapters — 64 scenes, 65,984 words. It follows Sals, the Sea Master of San Juan, from a mountain path with his eyes bound to the far end of a country he did not set out to change.

It is published here rather than through a house, which means three things you should know before you spend an evening on it. The first 9 scenes are free, in the same reading room paying readers use, so you can judge the writing before any money is discussed. Nothing is held back in a lesser edition — every paid tier is the whole book. And every number on this site is counted from the manuscript itself, so nothing here can quietly drift away from what is actually true.

The narration is being recorded chapter by chapter, and the film is being made scene by scene. Neither is finished. Where they are not, the site says so.

Sals Sky is a symbolic name rather than a conventional one — the reason is in Chapter Six, and giving it away here would spoil it.
