Written to standard, not yet read by a lawyer. These pages follow UK, EU, Indian and US consumer and data-protection requirements, and say what this product actually does. Before the first payment is taken, a lawyer in the operating jurisdiction should read them and the operator’s name and address must be filled in from the desk. Editing a page here replaces this notice with the date you changed it.

This is the agreement between you and the people who sell this book. It is written to be read. If any part of it is unclear, write to us and we will explain it — and if the explanation differs from what is written here, the explanation is what we will honour.

1. Who you are dealing with

These editions are sold by KWIKL INC, Denver, CO 80202, United States, referred to below as "we" or "us". You can reach a person at support@salssky.com.

2. What you are buying

A licence to read, hear and watch SalsSky: The Chosen One on this site, for as long as your edition runs. You are buying access, not a copy — there is no file to download and no transfer of ownership in the work.

The first 9 scenes (10,746 words) are free to everyone, with no account and no card. Every paid edition contains the whole book and the whole narration; the editions differ only in whether the film is included and what access to the author comes with them.

The narration and the film are works in progress, and the site states at all times how much of each exists. Buying an edition that includes them entitles you to each part as it is released, at no further charge, for as long as your edition runs. We do not promise a date, because we will not promise one we might miss.

3. The episodes, and when they arrive

The Odyssey edition includes the filmed episodes. They are still being made, and this is the part of the agreement we want you to read twice before you pay.

They arrive one at a time, as each is finished. There is no batch release and no season drop.
There is no schedule and no promised date, for the first episode or for any that follow. Production depends on the author's availability and on his approval of each cut, and neither can be fixed to a calendar.
Not all of them will exist within a year of the day you subscribe, and we are telling you that plainly rather than in a footnote.
Every episode that is released while your edition runs is included at no extra cost.

So what you are buying in Odyssey is the book and the narration in full, today, and the episodes as and when they exist. If the episodes are the only reason you are considering it, the honest advice is to take Reader now and move up when there is something to watch. If a delay is not acceptable to you, the fourteen-day refund below applies to Odyssey exactly as it does to everything else, and after that you can cancel at any time and keep access to the end of the period you have paid for.

Nothing in this section limits your legal rights if we describe an episode as released when it is not, or take payment for something we have said is available and it is not.

4. Your account

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live — 18 in most places, 16 in some. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must hold the account. Keep your password to yourself; an account is for one person, and sharing credentials so that several people read on one subscription is a breach of these terms.

You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it has been compromised. Tell us at support@salssky.com and we will end every session on it immediately.

5. Prices, currency and tax

Prices are shown before you pay, in your own currency where our payment processor supports it, and inclusive of the tax applicable where you are — VAT, GST or sales tax as the case may be. The amount shown on the confirmation screen is the amount you will be charged.

We may change prices. A change never affects the period you have already paid for, and for a recurring edition we will tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies, so that you can cancel first if you would rather. Where an edition is sold at a rate held for you while you stay, that promise is kept as written on the editions page.

6. Payment

Payment is taken by Stripe, which is a payment processor certified to the PCI DSS standard. Your card details are given to Stripe on their own page and are never seen by, sent to, or stored on this site. There is no card field anywhere on this site. Stripe's own terms and privacy notice govern their handling of your payment data.

7. Renewal and cancellation

A monthly or yearly edition renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancelling takes one press in your account. There is no telephone call, no form and no retention process. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep full access until then.

Where the law where you live requires us to remind you before a renewal — as in several US states and under EU rules for long fixed terms — we will send that reminder by email in good time.

Your reading position, your kept passages and your notes are not deleted when an edition ends. They are waiting exactly as you left them if you come back.

8. Refunds and the right to change your mind

A full refund within 14 days of any purchase, for any reason or none. Write to support@salssky.com from the address you bought with. You do not have to explain yourself and we will not ask you to.

This is deliberately more generous than the law requires. Consumers in the EU and the UK have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract, which for digital content is normally lost the moment access begins. We do not rely on that exception. The 9 free scenes exist so that nobody has to buy in order to find out what they are buying, and if you were still wrong about it, you get your money back.

Nothing here limits any statutory right you have where you live, including rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the EU Digital Content Directive, or the Indian Consumer Protection Act 2019.

9. What you may and may not do with the work

You may read it, listen to it, watch it, quote from it as any reader may quote from a book — in a review, an essay, a message to a friend — and keep passages and notes for yourself and export them.

You may not republish the text, upload it elsewhere, sell or share access, circumvent the access controls, scrape the site, or use the work to train a machine-learning model. The book, the narration, the film, the artwork and the design of this site remain the property of their author and are protected by copyright. Nothing in these terms grants you any of it.

Anything you write in the community remains yours. By posting it you give us a licence to display it on this site and nothing more — we do not license it onward, sell it, or use it to advertise.

10. The community

Writing anywhere on this site is subject to the Community Rules. We may remove a post or suspend an account that breaks them. When we do, we tell the person what went and why, and they can reply. We do not remove things silently.

11. Suspension and ending the agreement

You may stop at any time by cancelling and, if you wish, deleting your account.

We may suspend or end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms or the Community Rules, for fraud, or where we are required to by law. Except where the breach makes it inappropriate, we will warn first, explain, and give you a chance to put it right. If we end a paid edition for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part.

12. Availability

We aim to keep the site up and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not promise uninterrupted service — nobody honestly can. If a fault makes the service substantially unusable for a prolonged period, write to us and we will put it right by extension or refund.

13. What we are and are not responsible for

We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breaking this agreement or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, or for business losses — this is a book, sold to people to read.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Where a limit is permitted, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. For a material change affecting a paid edition we will give at least 30 days' notice by email, and you may cancel before it takes effect and receive a refund of the unused part. Minor corrections take effect when published, and the date at the foot of this page always shows when it last changed.

15. Law and disputes

If something goes wrong, write to support@salssky.com first. Most things are settled that way in a day.

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Colorado, United States, and the courts there have jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer, you keep every protection and every right to bring proceedings that the law of your own country of residence gives you, and nothing here removes them. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
