What you are buying

Access to read a novel, hear it as narration is recorded, and use what comes with it — the Ascent, Sophus and +1 Connect — for as long as your plan runs. You are not buying the copyright, and the words remain the author’s.

What it costs

The Journey is $39.99 a year, shown in your own currency before you pay. It renews each year at the price you joined at until you stop it, and a letter tells you two weeks before it does. If you joined on an earlier plan, it continues on the terms you joined on.

Stopping

One press, on your own billing page, at any time. It takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Within thirty days of a first payment you can have the money back instead — see Refunds.

What you may not do

Copy the book out and republish it, sell access, or share an account so that several people read on one plan. Keeping passages for yourself, quoting a line to a friend, or writing about it anywhere is all fine and always will be.

+1 Connect

Be a person about it. You can only write to somebody who kept the same line you kept, and a conversation is readable by the two people in it and by nobody else. A chapter’s room opens only when you have finished that chapter, so nothing is spoiled for anybody. Anything abusive is removed, with a written reason kept in a log that cannot be edited afterwards.

If something breaks

Write to support@salssky.com. If the site is unusable for a stretch and it is our fault, ask and the time is credited or refunded — that is a promise, not a discretion.

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Colorado, United States.
