Not here — that is deliberate. There is no card field anywhere on this site. Payment happens on Stripe's own page, and Stripe holds the card. This site never sees a card number, and cannot leak one it does not have.

Yes. Sign in on both and your place, your kept passages and your notes follow you. That is what an account is for — the free scenes need no account at all.

Almost always this is the few seconds between Stripe taking the payment and telling us about it. Reload the library and it will be open.

If it is still locked after a minute, write below with the email you paid with. Access is granted by Stripe's own confirmation, so if the payment went through, the access is owed to you and will be put right.

We keep what signs you in and remembers your place. Analytics are off until you say yes, and the reject button is the same size as the accept button. What the author sees is aggregate — which scenes readers stop at — never one named person's highlights or reading time. You can export everything or delete the account from your account settings.

Yes. Give it to someone — you choose the edition, who it is for, and whether it reaches them today or on a date you pick. They get a code and a line from you; they redeem it at /redeem, and it lasts a year from the day it arrives.

It is a single payment. A gift never becomes a subscription and you are never charged again.

If they already have an edition, the gift is added on to the end of it rather than overlapping — nobody pays twice for the same fortnight.
