A line from SalsSky: The Chosen One

Facing the sunrise, he let the warmth settle into him slowly, like weight more than heat.

Chapter One · The Fragrance of the Sun

On receiving what the morning offers

Morning has come, and for once it carries no dread with it. Sals stands at the rail, facing the light, and lets the warmth move into him. Not quickly. Not on his terms. It settles the way weight settles — downward, honest, without asking permission. Something in his chest loosens. He had not known it was still held tight. That is the moment. Not a breakthrough. Just a breath, full and unhurried, and the quiet discovery that the body had been bracing all along.

Most of us know that kind of hidden tension. The clenching we carry so long it stops feeling like clenching. It becomes the baseline. We call it normal. And then, sometimes, something simple — light, air, a pause we did not plan — reaches past the surface, and we feel the loosening, and we realize what we had been holding.

You do not have to seek the dramatic moment. Sometimes stillness finds the place in you that needed it most.

What might loosen in you if you let this morning settle, without rushing past it?
